The Festival

In the heart of the 'Taubertal' valley, with the backdrop of the beautiful medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, 'the Eiswiese' provides an exceptional site for an open air festival.

As well as the great location, this event is genuinely different from other open air events. As we are limited by the natural amphitheatre of the site, for us, it is a question of: 'size does not matter; it`s what you do with it.' Yes, that`s what counts, folks!

We put a lot of thought into our organisation and into the variety and quality of the artists so we can offer all our guests a weekend to remember. The relationship between the artists and the audience is a fundamental part of what Taubertal is all about. The Taubertal-Festival is the club gig of the festival scene!

The best proof for the success of our concept is that the Festival tickets sell out long before the show. Many of our guests come back year after year.
